Get an inside look at the Altamonte Springs Police Department with the Citizen Public Safety Academy.

The program runs for 10 weeks. Classes meet once on Wednesdays for three hours. No experience is necessary, but you must be 18 years or older. Each participant will receive an academy shirt and applicable supplies and upon completion, a certificate and class photo. Applicants are required to undergo a background check prior to acceptance into the program.

Food and refreshments are provided each night at 5:30 p.m.

Classes Begin October 5 | Admission Is FREE. Sign Up Today! Registration deadline is September 23. No applications will be accepted after this date.

• Introduction to Basic Police Functions Including Patrol, Traffic & Investigations
• K-9 Demonstration
• CPR Training & Certification
• Defensive Tactics Training
• Shooting Range Field Trip
• Seminole County Jail Tour
