About Our Partners
Through these generous donations and valued partnerships, the AS2I program fosters a unique learning environment by collaborating with organizations to develop engagement opportunities related to each student’s interests.
Duke Energy
Duke Energy goes beyond the energy meter to find solutions. We aim to help prevent future problems and have the equipment and expertise to analyze power quality problems outside and inside customer facilities. In conjunction with our core values, Duke Energy has partnered with the AS2I program to educate, inspire, cultivate and empower students to develop real-world skill sets.
“Duke Energy is proud to support AS2I, as its program aligns directly with our company’s focus on S.T.E.M. education,” said Harry Sideris, Duke Energy Florida president. “Today’s students will become tomorrow’s curious and innovative workforce and we are optimistic about the long-lasting effects our partnership provides for the community and its future leaders.”
AdventHealth
AdventHealth exists to serve the needs of our communities in harmony with Christ’s healing ministry and incorporate Christian values at every level of service. AdventHealth is honored to annually host AS2I interns and to cultivate their passion for health care careers, provide encouragement on their educational journey and share real-world business experiences before they enter the workforce.
Seminole County Public Schools
The mission of the Seminole County Public Schools is to ensure that all Early Childhood Program and PreK-Grade 12 students acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes to become productive members of society. In partnership with SCPS, the AS2I program is able to create S.T.E.M. education experiences for Seminole County students through diverse collaborations among educators, professionals, volunteers and corporate partners to provide ongoing science outreach and internship opportunities here locally. The collaboration between SCPS and the City of Altamonte Springs has been a tremendous example of the power of bringing the classroom out into the real world.
