Program Overview

Altamonte Springs Science Incubator (AS2I) is an innovative program promoting career readiness in the high-tech, high-demand fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). AS2I offers real-world, hands-on activities and experiences for middle and high school students annually. The program serves as an extension of the traditional classroom and aims to foster curiosity and expand knowledge in the sciences.

By utilizing the City’s resources at Lake Lotus Park, the Regional Water Reclamation Facility and Environmental Laboratory, AS2I is able to create enriching and dynamic educational opportunities that introduce students to the endless possibilities in STEM related career fields.

AS2I also offers internship and scholarship options for participating students who exemplify a passion for innovating a better world for future generations.
