World of Spice: Understanding Flavor Connections
First Thursday of the Month | March - December | 2 - 3 p.m.
Spice up your recipes and learn about the many flavors that can add zing to your next meal. This monthly series introduces patrons to the history, uses and fun facts about spices you may have never used. Space is limited. Registration is required.
Mobile Monday
March 6 & 20 | 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
The Library is offering one-on-one patron assistance in using the Libby or Hoopla apps. Patrons must have the apps installed prior to the session. Registration is open until filled.
U.S. Citizenship Classes
March 7, 14, 21, 28 & April 4, 11, 18, 25 | 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
This program is designed to help permanent residents prepare for the U.S. Citizenship and Naturalization process. The class helps participants learn about civics and U.S. history, while preparing them to take the U.S. Citizenship Test and Interview.
ESOL Classes
This program introduces non-native speakers to the English language and provides a place to practice English language skills. Conversation Hour is an opportunity to practice all the English language skills you have learned with other non-native speakers.

The City Library will host a career boot camp offering valuable insight and assistance to resume writing and interviewing.
Guilded Games
Wednesdays | March 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 | 2:30 – 5 p.m.
Join us for our weekly Guilded Games event! Our diverse tabletop game collection is available to play, and once a month a librarian will introduce a new game to our participants. This is a free event and open to everyone ages 13 to 17.
Color Your World
Wednesdays | 5 - 6:30 p.m.
Just had a long day? Come visit the City Library to relax. Wind down in a tranquil environment as you color your stress away. All materials are provided.
STEMsational
March 9 | 3- 4:30 p.m.
Teens are encouraged to build a glowing-eyed stuffed monster while exploring the LilyTiny preprogrammed microcontroller. Sew together the lights and batteries using conductive thread and discover the power of e-textiles. Sponsored by the Altamonte Springs Science Incubator program.
Technology Workshops
Third Thursday of the Month | 2 - 3 p.m.
Stumped by technology? The library is offering in-person workshops on topics such as computer basics, social media, smartphones and tablets, e-books, resume building and more. Learn how to use technology for applying for jobs, connect with family and friends and access digital materials. Registration is required.
