Patrol Division

The Patrol Division consists of four (4) lieutenants, thirty-nine (39) patrol officers, and five (5) Community Service Officers in four Patrol Sections. Patrol officers work a 12-hour shift, and are assigned to four different squads; two day shift and two evening shift.

There are seven assigned zones in the City of Altamonte Springs. Officers working those zones are responsible for responding to calls for service, identifying criminal activity, making arrests, enforcing traffic laws, and identifying quality of life issues within their assigned zone.
