Montgomery Road Lane Closures
Hubbard Construction/Orlando Paving (city contractor) begins paving Montgomery Road from S.R. 434 to S.R. 436 the week of October 15. The project continues for approximately two weeks (weather permitting). Construction runs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Lane closures and delays are to be expected. One travel lane will remain open for motorists at all times.

Initial milling work begins on the interior lane at S.R. 434 and continues south toward S.R. 436 then loops back up to S.R. 434. Paving work follows the milling using same pattern.

Road signs are posted at W. Central Parkway at Montgomery Road and Jamestown Boulevard at Montgomery Road to advise local traffic of the construction.

Northlake Boulevard

The City of Altamonte Springs is initiating street improvements to the Northlake Boulevard corridor starting the week of February 13. The project is scheduled to finish by September 2017.

This project is providing a new continuous 8-foot sidewalk from the southern terminus of the roadway to S.R. 436. The project also includes pavement reconstruction, new raised medians, hardscaping, landscaping, irrigation and new decorative lighting, along with improved north-side alignment at the intersection of S.R. 436 and Cranes Roost Boulevard. These renovations will provide an enhanced connection for cyclists and pedestrians to the Cranes Roost area.
