Upcoming Events

Mount Dora
December 13 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Start the day off with lunch at Florida’s most Historic Hotel, Lakeside Inn. Then spend time shopping in downtown Mt. Dora where you will find antique, gift and clothing stores as well as other unique shops. Cost of $40 includes transportation and lunch. Space is limited.

Shakespeare Theater - "Native Gardens"
January 21 | 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Gardens and cultures clash, turning friendly neighbors into feuding enemies as Pablo, a high-powered lawyer, and doctoral candidate Tania, his very pregnant wife, are realizing the American dream when they purchase a house next door to community stalwarts Virginia and Frank. But a disagreement over a long-standing fence line soon spirals into an all-out war of taste, class, privilege, and entitlement where you’re guaranteed no one comes out smelling like a rose. Cost of $60 includes lunch, transportation and admission.

Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center - "Flamenco Del Sol-Carmen"
February 4 | 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

An extraordinary production showcasing the iconic music of George Bizet layered over Prosper Merimee’s quintessentially Spanish story line told through a rich blend of classical operatic and flamenco music, including live guitar, percussion and original compositions. A cast of more the thirty will entrance the audience with percussive footwork, snapping fans and thundering castanets all clothed in majestic authentic costuming.
Cost of $45 includes lunch, transportation and admission.

18th Annual Senior Health Fair
Eastmonte Park Civic Center
February 14 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Senior Health Fair is a free event that seeks to educate attendees about healthcare
services and products while participating in health screenings.
