Walk for Parkinson

Saturday, April 1

Walk for Parkinson is more than just a walk. It highlights movement and exercise as a symbol of hope and progress in finding a cure for Parkinson's disease. This annual fundraiser raises awareness and funds for local community programs and research to find a cure. The Walk features a “Movement Pavilion”, with stations such as yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, dance, cycling, exercise and much more. Studies show that movement is beneficial and proven to help manage the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, improving flexibility and mobility.

Whether you take part on a team or join as an individual, you'll get a chance to move with hundreds of supporters who share a common goal - to help beat Parkinson's.

Each registered participant who donates or raises $100 or more in their individual name, whether or not you are on a team, will receive a 2017 PACF Walk for Parkinson commemorative T-shirt. Email your size to Emily Rinehart at ERinehart@parkinsoncf.com once your goal has been reached.
