Internships

The Altamonte Springs Science Incubator Internship Program provides hands-on, real-world experience with top industry professionals and acts as a learning opportunity beyond the traditional classroom. The seven-week program is designed to introduce Seminole County students to the endless possibilities in ST.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) career fields. Upon completion, interns earn up to one credit hour through Seminole County Public Schools for graduation requirements and earn an imbursement up to $230.

This internship program gives ambitious minds the ability to discover new professions and explore fresh options by job shadowing the area's S.T.E.M. experts and specialists. Experiencing different types of work places gives students the chance to learn more about the booming S.T.E.M. industry while also developing their own career paths.

Today’s job market is expansive and vast, like an ocean. This program will put you in a boat, give you a compass and help you land a career that you love and appreciate. The program's goal is to advance our interns' skill set and develop it to a high, professional standard that employers are looking for.

This position is not like an average summer internship. It is an experience. Interns can realize and confirm their passions and envision a career that turns into a lifestyle. Think of this opportunity as a test drive for the future!
